Oh, Midwest, you tricky little minx. I already started dressing in Fall mode, and here it was sunny, warm, and generally beautiful! At least my colors were equally sunny & cheery:
This has been featured a few times before, maybe not even that differently, but I still thought it was fun enough to share. Dress: Four Stars (size L), brown woven leather belt: thrifted, yellow tights: Gap.
Guys, guess what – it’s already hump day! [Insert creepster Will Schuester seduction here.] Thaaank God, Allah, Xenu, Gaga, etc.
You’ve already seen this $7 dress (maybe several times), but here you are anyway:
Yep, that’s right, $7 for a silk Simply Vera dress (size 4) on clearance at Kohl’s. I’ve already written about that before, but I’m no less proud of the score today. Tan flats: Nine West.
T.G.I.F. am I right? Has this week felt incredibly long for anyone else? At least it’s sunny and lovely today, unlike the past few dreary, wet days we’ve had in Chicago. To celebrate, some silken flowers shall I sport:
Cropped, textured jacket: Mossimo, silk dress & green tights: Simply Vera.
Hello! Been busy around here lately, so I feel like I should apologize for the lack of posts. Sorry! (I’m sure you’ve been waiting oh-so-impatiently and all.)
Just a quick stop to share another cool necklace, also from my friend Teri on my birthday:
“What’s on that pendant?” you ask?
Today’s post is almost identical to a previous one, but I simply love this dress. It feels so frisky and was just $11 – can you beat that?
Knit dress: AB Studio (size M) from Kohl’s. Switched it up with some purple Simply Vera tights (also Kohl’s) this time instead of black ones. And I’ve had this black, rhinestone-zippered cardigan since high school. Don’t know who it’s by, as I ripped the tag out because it was an XL, and I felt embarrassed or something. So silly. I should’ve been more embarrassed that I bought something from Gadzooks.
This is one of my favorite go-to nail colors in the red-pink realm: OPI’s Miami Beet, from the South Beach Collection. It’s just so bright & juicy! OPI is definitely not as good as the Sally Hansen Complete Manicure line, if you ask me, but I did this 5 days ago (with Revlon’s Quick Dry Base Coat and Extra Life No Chip Top Coat), and it’s clearly chip-free so far.
(Also: owl ring from Aldo Accessories, green ring from Kohl’s – and the earrings and necklace were featured earlier today.)
