$36 (faux) leather & lace

Hi! We actually had some sunshine this morning! Which made me start to break a sweat taking these pics, no lie. But was it nice and toasty warm outside, too? Noooo, of course not!

Oh well! Happy with this, which has quickly become one of my new favorite outfits – and it seriously cost $36.

Navy Xhilaration juniors lace cardigan (Target, size L): $7
Cream gold sequin Olivia Moon tank (Nordstrom Rack, size M): $7
Black Mossimo jeggings (Target, size 11): $10
Dolce Vita for Target ankle boots (size 9): $12

Voilà! Not too shabby, right? Sometimes I wear it with a side braid to amp the boho up a bit, but I really love the soft and feminine lace layered with sparkly sequins, then paired with the edgier boots that have pointed toes and hard yet delightfully tinkly buckles:

Sadly, one has a jankety zipper, so I’m guessing that’s why these were only $12. But I’m hoping that’s an easy (and inexpensive fix) because I really love these boots.

Detail:

If you grab one of these cardigans, just remember that they are juniors sizing, and, unlike regular sweater cardigans, lace doesn’t stretch. I had to get a size L, and the sleeves are still a bit short on me. I got one it in a soft brown color too. Also sporting my Viv & Ingrid wishbone charm again and Revlon Just Bitten lipstain in Flame – it’s similar to Gothic, but Gothic is a more pure red, while Flame is more coral/orange-y. It really pops and is tons of fun to wear.

Well, I’m off to dye some Easter eggs! Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
