blue skies, blue shoes

I actually didn’t intend to blog today, but I ended up wearing all kinds of stuff never featured, so here I am!

Nothing extraordinary – just a bright, feminine look for a lovely day.

Drape-neck tank: New York & Company (size S), floral print skirt: Mossimo (size 10).

Blue patent jute wedges: Montego Bay Club from Payless (size 7.5… yes, I normally wear a 9, but they were something like $7 and are actually more comfortable than they look). I probably normally never would have picked up these shoes had they not perfectly matched a dress I was wearing to a late summer wedding a few years ago (Hi, Andrea!), but they were cheap and just so fun. I love jute wedges & need more of them in my life. I only have one other pair (I think), and the wedge got a bit dirty after a few wears. That’s the problem with jute: cute but easily sullied.

Earrings: New York & Co., dainty rhinestone heart chain necklace (I think it’s a Tiffany rip-off): Target. Threw my unruly hair up into a more sleek pony before I left.

Amusing tidbit: the man next to me at the bus stop this morning looks up at… building? traffic camera? and says, “Hi, government secret agent. F— you!” Well, a Happy Monday to you, sir!

Thanks! You know I actually bought it to use as a slip under a weird/clingy dress? Because Target had no slips. And I could wear this again. :P Ha!

Haha, that’s too funny! I would never think of doing that. Smart! :)
