orange-to-gold gradient

After an absolute hellish day at the office (the printer finally brought me to tears of frustration), I tried to chill and decompress tonight, first with a workout and later with the weirdly zen process of painting my nails. Tonight I tried another ombre/gradient application:

Meeeh. I dunno if I like it. Buuut I’m also too lazy to change it, so it’ll stay for a while, and we’ll see how well cheap-o Wet n Wild Craze nail polish holds up (in, L-R, 232 Goldmine, 231 Shield, 1 coat 233 Rustic & 1 coat 231, 233 Rustic, 230 Inferno). Hopefully the Revlon base and top coats that I love so much will help.

ETA: This actually looks better in, well, better light. Rather than living-room-meagerly-lit-by-a-single-lamp light coupled with trying-to-get-a-decent-angle flash.
