ultimate cozy hoodie

If you live in the Midwest, you know it is COLD these last few days of 2009, and everyone I know is layering ’til Kingdom Come to keep warm.

Fortunately I found the absolute coziest, warmest hoodie to help with this at Target recently and must share it with you all.

Mossimo Supply Co. Juniors Fur Lined Hoodie – Milan Purple:

ultimate cozy hoodie, originally uploaded by hereslookingatshoeskid.

It may look like your standard hoodie, but it is not, dear friends – it is so much MORE.

back:

While it looks like any other hoodie, it is actually lined with super soft furry material (the kind on those super luxe furry blankets) everywhere inside except for the sleeves. You can’t imagine how good and warm it feels. And the faux fur on the hood feels soft, too – not scratchy-nasty.

At $29.99, it was a little more expensive than I usually care to spend on hoodies – and let’s face it, don’t we all have too many of those lying around, unworn, in drawers already? – but it was SO SOFT and cozy that it was worth it. I got the purple one in a Large, as the Medium was a bit too snug for any kind of thicker clothing underneath (and remember, these are juniors sizing, which runs smaller), and I got a deep teal one in XL for my mom – who is substantially more busty than me – for Christmas:

Unfortunately it looks like the purple and teal are both sold out on Target’s website, but they have grey and maroon left… but only in XS.

They all also feature unfinished-looking hemming on the pockets and some velvety screen-printing in various patterns and placements that give them a little punch. You can see it pretty well here on the grey:

And, for good measure, here is the maroon:

It sucks they only have XS left online (since I only have a couple of friends who would fit into that comfortably… with something very thin underneath), but I highly recommend checking your local Target stores. These are worth hunting down. You will not be sorry. No, you will be toasty-cozy cute. :)

PS: Target has some similar ones by Merona as well, but DO NOT BE FOOLED – they are not nearly as soft or cozy. I checked. They feel like crap in comparison. So be aware of which ones you’re eyeing!
